It's happened; the Elon Musk offering of the Model S has been reintroduced, the Model S 60 is lower spec version of it's big brother,

this version has 60kWh charge in a 75kWh battery pack, which limits the charge to 60 kWh however this ev is still capable of 130mph and a 0-60 speed of 5.5 seconds whilst still delivering a 248 mile range, as for the price a mere £53400.

The AWD Model S60D achieves 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and offers a range of 253 miles.

Tesla used to offer a 60kWh Model S but it scrapped in favour of a bigger 70kWh charge pack in 2015, surprisingly this version of the electric car is cheaper than the original introduced in 2012, making this Tesla the more cost effective since the Model 40, a 40kWh limited battery version of the Model S in 60kWh pack.

Tesla has been in the public eye since launch and with many reasons to own one and one of the possible futures of cars here is why an EV from Elon Musk may well be the electric car everyone needs:-

Tesla and indeed all electric vehicles need significantly less maintenance, with no oil changes, plugs, fuel filters etc and the comprehensive warranties 50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and an 8 year / infinite mile battery and drive unit all standard on the Model S.

Many charge points through the Tesla network make finding a close Supercharger easy, and home charging makes juicing up a Tesla equally as simple.

Software updates are installed easily whilst driving, parking etc. all sent free over the air, improving driving and adding functionality into the future.
