Enter the KGM Musso Electric. Yes, SsangYong—now rebranded as KGM—has transformed one of Britain’s favourite budget-friendly pickups into a fully electric 4WD machine. And honestly? It feels like exactly the kind of curveball the UK pickup market desperately needed.

Because let’s be honest: for years, the pickup landscape has been dominated by the big boys. Ford, Toyota, Isuzu… they’ve ruled the roost. And while they’ve flirted with hybridisation, mild electrification and “we’re working on it” teasers, none have quite delivered a proper electric pickup for UK roads.
