It's that time once again the Silverstone Festival formerly known as the Silverstone Classic will be going ahead in the coming weeks, and automotive lovers paradise whether it's rare cars, formula one or a bit of everything, it truly can't be beaten and it wouldn't be a Planetauto summer without us attending.

Here's Last years highlights 

Last year we headed down to the Silverstone Retro Run in Lady Dorothy or Mercedes Benz C124 230CE, now this is a real car enthusiasts experience and we throughly recommend it.

This year as it's the 75th Anniversary we're doing something a little different and we're heading down in the brand new Honda ZR-V and making a road trip of it.

Silverstone Festival is something else as you'll see from our high lights video, it encompasses all things automotive, with food, drink and music.

It's a great weekend for the whole family, lots to see and do, and that's without going into the car side of things, you'll find all the latest models from manufacturers EV's, ICE and you can even drive them to see if they fit into your life.

There's racing thoroughout the weekend, access to Formula One life, pit exhibitions etc.

Lots of merchandise, and a really positive vibe.
