We had the opportunity to take this new iteration on a road trip from Liverpool to Birmingham making a stop at BYD Stratstone in Birmingham, to experience firsthand how the MG HS Petrol handles in real-world driving conditions.

 

Our journey began in the bustling city of Liverpool, where the MG HS Petrol greets us with its sleek and modern aesthetic. The new design retains many of the characteristics that made the HS popular in the first place but incorporates a few subtle yet effective refinements that elevate its road presence.

 

The MG HS Petrol embraces MG's design language, blending assertive lines with smooth curves to create an SUV that feels both modern and premium. At the front, the grille design has been refreshed with a more intricate mesh pattern, lending the SUV a more upscale appearance. The LED headlights have also been subtly reshaped, adding a sharper and more dynamic look that enhances visibility.

 

One of the standout features of the new MG HS Petrol is the inclusion of 19-inch alloy wheels, which come as standard across the range.
