The Fully Charged Show is an electric vehicle and home energy programme and was created by Robert Llewellyn – some of us know him better as Kryten in Red Dwarf – as the place to see all things electric, including new EV’s on the market, home battery solutions and the quirkier side of electrification.

and yes we are are attending... more on that later

Now we're heading there for one thing Electric vehicles, whether that be electric cars, EV SUVS or other emobility solutions, expect to see a number of EV manufacturers at the event, including:

Ora with the fantastic Funky Cat, review coming soon

Nissan with the Ariya and Leaf

BYD with their latest model the Dolphin

Genesis with a number of their electrified vehicles including GV60, you need to check that out.

You can expect it to be a family filled weekend with over 300 exhibitors, everything from charging through to electrification and there are concessions available for tickets, with the prices looking like this:

    Three day ticket £36
  • Concessions (OAPs/Students/Blue Light Card Holders):

Children aged fifteen or under get in for free, as do carers.

Fully Charged South certainly looked like it was an amazing event, and it is exciting that the team have come North for the first time.

With lots of live sessions, test drives and exhibitors to see, it’s going to be an electrifying weekend.

From state-of-the-art electric vehicles to innovative energy solutions, Fully Charged Live North aim to showcase the latest advancements in the realm of sustainability. Attendees will be treated to captivating displays of electric cars, bikes, and even electric aircraft, demonstrating the incredible diversity and potential of electric transportation.

One of the standout features of the event will be the interactive exhibits and demonstrations, which will allow attendees to get hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. From test-driving electric vehicles to exploring the inner workings of solar panels, attendees will be the given the opportunity to engage with sustainability in a tangible and meaningful way.

Now back to how we fit in: firstly @hyundai has kindly provided us with a number of EV’s to review over the coming month, and the one for this event is the Hyundai Ioniq 5, classic, retro yet modern and tech loaded, what an EV ot attend the Fully Charged Show North – we look forward to seeing you there!

The first Fully Charged North Event takes place on the 19th, 20th and 21st May at The Yorkshire Event Centre, Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate.
