TVR has just unveiled the V8 Cosworth powered Griffith at Goodwood Revival, the much-loved British car manufacturer famed for their light weight and powerful high-end sports car. In 2013 we saw the end of TVR as we know it and became TVR Automotive Ltd. This means the latest offering from TVR is big news as this is the first mass produced TVR in over 10 years being the make it or break it car for TVR. Here is some headline figures, a better power to weight ration than a Porsche 911 Turbo S, a full carbon fibre body and a Ford Cosworth V8 which will push the car over 200mph.

Autonomous UK driving
As you've probably heard, the British Government has announced today platoons of self driving trucks (well that's an over statement), rather than small convoys of partially driverless lorries will be taking to the British highways.  Couple that with Tesla announcing their truck cabs will be able to achieve 300 mile per charge,

Bentley Continental GT3-R

We all love to celebrate when we've had a victory. Why would a manufacturer of luxurious cars react any differently?

The absolute perfect Bentley (in my eyes) was created by the Bentley Motorsports Division, the same team that won first place at Silverstone in May 2014 Blanc Pain Endurance series, with their #7 M-Sport GT3. This gave the Bentley fan something to hold, with which to celebrate this victory - The Bentley GT3-R.

Volvo V40 D3 Inscription

Volvo have been synonymous with safety for many years, building boxy but good cars in the 70's, 80's and 90's, vehicles like the 240 and the 850, however their latest cars hark back to the early years of Swedish manufacturer Volvo's, pretty cars. These were the times when the P1800 and P1900 were the real lookers, with a look as well as a style.

Rolls Royce Sweptail

RR seem to be heading back into coachbuilt cars, and with it follows the release of a one-off Rolls-Royce Sweptail which has just made its formal debut at the Concourse d'Eleganza rather unsurprisingly this has caused quite a stir in the automotive world.

This coachbuilt one-off Rolls-Royce is completely bespoke designed and crafted for one special client who by all accounts has according to RR "an outlandish love of opulence and is described as con is your and collective distinctive one-off items including super yachts and private aircraft"

The Nissan Micra -  the iconic hatchback, which became bland, bubbly and unappealing to the masses, well that's about to change. For years the Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Polo and Vauxhall Corsa have dominated the small car market, however Nissan want it back.

Ferrari 70th anniversary FOS

The Goodwood FOS is the epitome of motorsport heritage, the Festival of Speed event is fast approaching in only five weeks, we will be trackside ruminating in all things automotive.

The theme for this year's show is Peaks of performance - Motorsports game changers, celebrating the fastest, most powerful and most expensive and or complicated racing machines and the reins which they broke and how that affected the rules governing these beasts and how the official rules had to be changed e.g. Group B rally.
